Association of Authors and Publishers

COPYRIGHT POLSKA

founded in 2002, is the Polish collective management organisation (CMO) that collects and distributes the remunerations for reprography (publishers) and public lending right (authors and publishers). It is a non-governmental non-profit organisation.

COPYRIGHT POLSKA comprises three groups of rightsholders: press publishers, book publishers and authors with equal representation in the Association’s governing bodies. The total number of members at the end of 2016 was 117.

COPYRIGHT POLSKA is an active member of the International Federation of Reproduction Rights Organisations (IFRRO) and the International Authors’ Forum (IAF). It collaborates with CMOs in many other countries: Belgium, Denmark, Greece, Ireland, the Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland, Turkey and the USA.

Note: Previously, the name of our organisation was Association of Authors and Publishers “Polska Książka”. Our current name, Association of Authors and Publishers COPYRIGHT POLSKA, was adopted on 14 March 2014.
